I spent one week at Saena Iulia in October Both experiences in immersion were priceless and I know how fortunate I am to be able to study in this way. Others who have written comments about their experiences have accurately covered the basics of how Saena Iulia works, so I want to share my thoughts about what I came to understand is important to me when deciding where to study Italian in Italy, because there are so many choices. My decision boiled down to three critical questions: In terms of the first question, Siena is about as perfect a location as you could dream of if you want to be in the heart of Tuscany in a town that's small enough to feel a part of, but big enough to offer splendid ways to pass your free time.
